Hope Theatre Projects is a new professional not-for-profit theatre company based in Kingston, Ontario. Hope Theatre produces plays which question preconceptions, are intellectually challenging and emotionally provocative, and which have immediate relevance to the Kingston community. 18-29 March 2009, Baby Grand Theatre Fresh from a successful tour across Ontario, local actor Matthew Gibson, named by The National Post as one of the best actors of 2004, brings The Gospel According to Saint Mark to vivid life upon the Baby Grand stage. Gibson gives what is considered the oldest of the Gospels a dramatic two-hour solo performance, bringing the text alive through a unique blend of storytelling and theatricality.
